A note from Professor Danko Sipka-ASU’s Serbian language department to Arizona Serbs
I am conducting a U.S. State Department sponsored research on heritage speakers of BCS aimed eventually at utilizing their linguistic skills in the government services. I will visit the following places at the following times to conduct brief structured interviews with heritage speakers with an eye toward learning more about their needs and potential:
Los Angeles: August 13-17, 2010
New York City: September 17-20, 2010
Chicago: October 22-25, 2010
Phoenix: the whole month of November
Please send me your suggestions for venues and people relevant in this regard.
